lupine

The tall spiked flower that fills northern New Hampshire fields in early summer.

Lupine is a tall flowering plant with dense vertical spikes of purple, pink and white blooms that carpets open fields in the northern part of the state. Sugar Hill's festival is named for that bloom, which ties its timing to the season rather than to a fixed weekend. Our record for that festival carries no confirmed 2026 dates, so confirm with the organizer before travelling for it.
