The grandstand is the fixed spectator seating at a fairground, facing the arena, track or pulling ring. Larger agricultural fairs schedule their headline attractions there, and grandstand seating is sometimes ticketed on top of gate admission. If a fair's schedule refers to a grandstand show, expect a fixed start time rather than a drop-in attraction.
